If you have a $5,000 - $7,500 deductible for maternity through your family health plan, or you have a group health plan that doesn't cover all maternity expenses, you have come to the right place!
Are You Already Pregnant?
Supplemental health plans and HumanaOne maternity insurance will not help pay benefits if you are currently pregnant. The best options if you are already pregnant are:

Have an Individual or Family Health Insurance Plan in Utah?
Individual and family plans often have a high deductible for maternity. These deductibles can range from $5,000 all the way to $7,500. This leaves many families struggling to pay the hospital bills for months.
Utah supplemental insurance can help you cover some or all of your large maternity deductible!
Have an Employer Sponsored Group Health Insurance Plan in Utah?
Employer sponsored, or group, health insurance plans sometimes cover most of the maternity charges after the deductible is paid. Some group plans are similar to individual and family plans and carry a large deductible.

Don't Have Major Medical Insurance?
You can sign up for supplemental health plans even if you don't have a major medical plan in Utah. However, it is highly recommended that you have a major medical plan, since there is a limit on how much these plans will cover. In other word, if there are complications with the mother or the baby, you could face devastating medical charges because there was no major medical plan in place.
